Calangute Beach

Calangute Beach lies just nine miles north of the capital city Panaji, and is called as Queen of Beaches. It is about 4 miles in length and covered with palm trees. It is a pristine beach with golden sand. Earlier this beach was a hippy hangouts, but now it is a great vacation spot for many tourists. Many tourists and locals spend their time by bathing in the quiet solitude of the sea, sun and sand on this lovely beach.
