Lalbagh Flowershow

Lalbagh Flowershow attracts lakhs of people biannually.

Every year Lalbagh Horticultural Department conducts Flower shows as a part of Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations in Bangalore. Lakhs of people attend this.

Garden City's famous flower show is held biannually at the Lalbagh Botanical Garden Glass House. This year's new attractions for the kids at the flower show are dinosaurs,(made up of 50,000 flowers) deers, elephants, mermaids, teddy bears, fish, rabbits etc. made of different varieties of flowers.

Tickets - Rs.30/- on weekdays and Rs.40/- on weekends. Available at the Gate. Last day of the show - August 16. (2009)

Apart from the flower show, horticultural stalls are also there for the purchase of plants, seeds etc.

Those who cannot walk around can use the facility of the vehicle which carries about 10-12 people, for a reasonable charge.

A visit to the flower show is a pleasure to the eyes and a good time for the family to enjoy.
