Dona Paula Beach

Dona Paula Beach is located 7 km south of Panjim, the capital of Goa, in the west Tiswadi Taluk.

3 km away from this Beach, lies Miramar beach on the north, and Vainguinium beach is just 1 km west. Dona Paula Beach is one of the busiest and attractive beaches in Goa. It is mesmerizing to watch the sunsetting, behind the shimmering blues of the Arabian Sea, sitting in this palm fringed beach. Many tourists consider this as a perfect romantic destination.

Attractions of the Beach

  • Popular water sports, like water scooter and motor boat rides, for the thrill seekers and adventure loving visitors.
  • Windsurfing, parasailing, kayaking, yatching, snorkieling and swimming.
  • Shopping for your souveniers is easy here. Silver and shell jewellery is a local speciality.
  • Eatables are plenty in the long stretch of shores lined with shops.
  • Tasty Goan food in the beach shacks and restuarants.

This beach can be visited at any time of the year. But the best time would be November to February. During this time the climate would be at its best and the annual water sports festival would also be held.

Excellent accommodation facilities are available at many hotels there.
