Colva Beach

Colva beach, the largest beach in Goa, with endless stretch of velvety sand, is located 6 km east of Margao in the Salcete taluk, and 40 km from Panjim, in the south Goa. The beach has shimmering blue waters and green palms that stretch the entire length of this beautiful beach. Now it is one of the region's major tourist attractions.

The beach can be visited at any time, but the best time is from November to February when the weather is pleasant and the conditions are ideal for a beach vacation.

  • Popular water sports, like skiing and speed boat rides, under the safe guidance of trained instructors, for the adventure loving visitors
  • Swimming and snorkieling
  • Island tours organised by the local fishermen.

Reaching there

By Air: The nearest airport is Dabolim, 26 km away, which is connected to major Indian cities through a number of regular flights.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Margaok 8 km away from Colva. From there, local buses and autorikshaws are available to Colva.

By Road: Local buses, autorikshaws and taxis are available.
