Baga Beach

Baga Beach is located 15 km away from Panjim, the capital city of Goa, on the shores of the Arabian Sea.

It is a charming beach with swaying palms and the shimmering blues of the Baga river and often seen as an extension of the Calangute beach. This beach does not have frantic tourist activity.

Baga beach Attractions of the Beach

  • Flea Market on Saturdays at the nearby Arpora village where you can buy items like clothes, sea shell jewelery, wood carvings etc., for a cheaper rate.
  • Water sports.
  • Quite activities like fishing.
  • Eatables are plenty in the quality restaurants and hotels and in the Baga cafes.
  • This Beach is a favored spot for people looking for repose and relaxation .

    Reaching there

    By Air: The nearest airport is Dabolim, 29 km away from Panjim which is connected to major Indian cities through a number of regular flights.Baga is at a distance of just half an hour drive from Panjim.

    By Rail: The nearest railway station is Karmali, 11 km away from Panjim.

    By Road: Local buses operate regularly between Panjim-Baga and Mapusa-Baga.
