Some herbs like amla (Indian gooseberry) that promote the overall health and longevity of your hair.

The negative energy such as mental tension, hormonal imbalance, stress, heredity, infection in the scalp, diseases like typhoid, flu etc cause hair loss..

Some simple tips for Ayurveda hair care

According to Ayurveda, hair fall is due to the imbalance of pitta dosha . Proper care should be given to the hair to rectify this problem. 

  • Massaging your scalp with coconut oil promotes hair growth. Application of coconut oil on scalp nourishes the hair roots and strengthens hair follicles.
  • Include more green leafy vegetables and proteins in your diet.
  • Do not use others comb and do not allow your comb to be used by others.
  • Do not tie your hair immediately after bath, before drying.
  •  Fenugreek seeds, or methi seeds, are enriched with folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin K and vitamin C . They  support healthy and strong hair and  a good source of protein and nicotinic acid, which help prevent hair fall, dandruff and damage by keeping your scalp healthy.
  • The hair oil made with amla powder and coconut oil is very good for hair health. 
  • Curd is also good for health of the hair because of its cooling properties. They are essential for the growth of new hair follicles which promote hair growth. 
  • Deficiency of vitamin C is the main cause for hair fall which can be prevented with the use of amla, which is rich in vitamin C.
